Springtime Flowers
Home » Photography »I know blog posts have been a little thin on the ground recently. Especially recipes and crafts, and I know I’ve said it before, but I’ve been so busy with work and family life that blogging has had to take a little bit of a back burner..
It was bank holiday in the UK this past weekend and on one of the glorious days of sunshine (which has now disappeared and we are back with grey, cold, wet and miserable skies) hubs and I went to visit his parents. I always love how wonderful my mother-in-law’s garden looks. She has been blessed with greenfingers and it shows! Here are some of the flowers I took photographs of whilst there; at least I can look at them and remember what sunshine looks like!!
I’m pretty good at wildflowers though – these are all from our garden. The lady that lived here before us used to scatter seeds everywhere (or so my elderly neighbour tells me) so we get a right mixed bag of flowers come up. I’m going to miss them when we move!

Springtime flowers are so beautiful and herald the start of the warmer, brighter weather. I love the spring, it makes me feel so much happier to wake to a sunny morning when the birds are singing and the leaves are beginning to sprout :)

Over the years I have really started to love the springtime – I think it’s because winters here have been so long and full of horrible weather! I can’t wait for the sun to shine again, watch the flowers bloom and hope that summer follows with warmer weather!!
