I’ve decided to take the plunge and start my own blog. After reading several blogs for a number of years now I feel its time for me to give something back.
I’ve sat and thought about what my blog should be about and came to the conclusion that it should revolve around things that I love. I love nothing more than to entertain at home – parties, barbecues, holidays, dinners…if it is worth celebrating, I’ll be organizing *something* for my friends and family to enjoy and share with me!
I love to cook, I love to get crafty, I love to work around a theme and I love to document the whole thing by taking lots of photographs.
I won’t profess to be the do-it-all-myself party queen…I sometimes buy stuff ready-made, be it online or from the supermarket, and there’s nothing wrong with that! Sometimes we are just too busy to get our chefs hat on, or an impromptu shindig has arisen and you don’t have time to hand-make everything…
The important thing for me is making sure that everyone has a good time and remembers the event!
To whet your appetite for what my blog is all about here’s a photo from my recent ‘Better Late Than Never’ Halloween Dinner Party. It was whilst preparing everything for this get together that I got the inspiration to blog about it. I took many photos of the preparations and not just the event, with the forethought to create a blog! In my upcoming posts I will share recipes and how everything came together.
