Salvador Dali Museum, Bruges, Belgium
Home » Travel »Back in 2013, I took hubs to Bruges, Belgium for his 40th birthday. We had a great time sightseeing around the beautiful city and hope we get a chance to go back one day. As I’m sharing different museums for #MuseumWeek, I thought for day 3, I would share the photographs from when we went to the Salvador Dali Museum in Bruges. (You can read all of my other #MuseumWeek posts here!)
Dali is one of my favourite artists so I was looking forward to visiting this museum. The entry was around 8 Euros each if I recall, (you can check for the most up to date information on the website). For security, we had to leave hubby’s backpack at the reception. Some of the artwork was for sale, and it was nice to see his less famous works. We both enjoyed wandering around and viewing the artwork on display. If you ever find yourself in Bruges I highly recommend paying a visit to the Salvador Dali Museum.

we love Bruges and have been a couple of times on cheap ferry trips. WE especially liked nearer Christmas when the Christmas markets are there. Didnt know about this museum though so will definitely check it out next time we go :)

Would love to go back – such a beautiful place. Hope to get to the Christmas markets – just couldn’t get the weekends to match up that year with everything else we had on!

I adore museums and went to the Dali Universe at London’s South Bank in about 2007 even though I’m not a huge fan of his. Even though I don’t particularly enjoy his work his character and personality makes him impossible not to pay attention to! I didn’t know about #MuseumWeek which is a shame as I would have definitely got involved!

Is the Dali Universe still there? I remember thinking to myself I must go there – I love Dali’s work – but never quite got to go :(
I found out about it randomly on twitter – saw it was a trending hashtag and thought I’d get involved in my own little way!
