If you’re a long time reader of my blog, you know that I love Halloween! A lot of my Halloween ideas are kid friendly, simply because I have a child (well, he’s nearly 18 now!) and a young niece who I have to think about when throwing my parties at home. You can see all of my ideas from over the years in my Crafty October series here.

That means that I don’t have many Halloween party ideas for grown ups on my blog, but luckily Festive Lights have come to the rescue with their Halloween Party Pack for Grown Ups! It is filled with some awesome ideas for decor, costumes, cocktails, and games.

These Halloween ideas are for adults, and older teens – I’m loving the ideas that festive-lights.com have shared!

If I tell you my favourites from each section, will you tell me yours? Leave me a comment below!

Decor

I love the bloody handprints idea! I’ve made glittery spiderwebs with PVA glue before, and just have to try to make some of these to stick up on the windows!

Easy Costumes

A witch is my go-to costume year after year. I guess as a plus size girl, who has a lot of black clothes, it is the easiest for me to do. But I love Harley Quinn’s Suicide Squad look – I’m seeing it all over YouTube and Instagram at the moment! I think I may give the make up a try at the very least!

American Horror Story Cocktails

If you are a fan of AHS you will love these cocktails! It’s not a show I’ve watched, simply because I’m a bit of a wimp when it comes to the horror genre… but I’m getting braver, so I might actually give this a watch! As for my favourite from this list of cocktails, I bought an awesome drinks dispenser in Orlando this year, that would be perfect for the Freak Show Lemonade!

Games

In my family I’m the queen of pumpkin carving, so it wouldn’t be fair to hold a contest with my lot, but the Wrap A Mummy game is hilarious! My husband and I played this as an ice-breaker at a blogging event (we even got into the Guinness Book of Records for it!) and had a lot of fun. Stock up on the cheap loo roll!
