August 27th, 2014 …Continued from Part 4…
We got the monorail back to Grand Floridian, and popped in to see if we could move our dining reservation at Citricos to a little bit later. They were able to do this for us, which was handy, as it gave us time to go home, pack our cases, and get changed for our night out. We decided we should celebrate our wedding anniversary again, since it was the 5 year milestone in 2014!
We also popped into Basin White which is on the monorail level, to buy some soaps to bring home as gifts. We also went into the other store here, can’t remember the name, as we had been given a gift card with $100 on it, because our air conditioner had been leaking during our stay, and not properly fixed. I bought some little bracelet charms (no pic, sorry!) and some Halloween candy, using snack credits. Earlier in our hols, we were told at a different shop, that they couldn’t be bought with snack credits, but here we were told they could. Confusion!

We had a bit of a nosey around the hotel before heading back to Old Key West. It’s such a beautiful hotel, other than some Disney touches here and there, you wouldn’t think you were at Walt Disney World!
Our return visit to Grand Floridian, we handed over the car keys to the valet (we didn’t have to pay to valet again, it’s valid all day) and went back inside. The band were playing, and the atmosphere was lovely.
The views out of the windows were amazing, and the pool at Grand Floridian is awesome – we watched for a while as the Mad Hatters’ hat filled up with water and dumped it out again!
