…Continued from Part 2…

The park seemed a lot busier than I remember from previous years, owing I guess to the Frozen stuff, but we had FastPass+ times for Star Tours and Toy Story Mania so we didn’t have to worry about anything else really.

I noticed a couple of characters walking around, dressed up, as what can only be described as washed up actresses! It was nice to see, I think DHS has the potential to be such a great park, but always feels like it lacks something!

The boys eventually found me, with the Frozen singalong tickets safely in hand. Our FastPass+ time slot for TSM was a while yet, so we decided to go and watch the Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream film. A perfect place to immerse yourself in a bit of Disney history and a place to get out of the boiling hot sun!

It was then Toy Story Midway Mania time, so we scanned our Magic Bands and joined the short line for FP+ and we were soon shooting our way through the midway games. Definitely a family favourite of ours! The themeing in the ride line is brilliant, and it’s one thing I do miss when going through the FP+ line!

Plus size rider wise, I was fine. You pull the shooter down as far as you need too and they are individual, so you don’t have to worry.

Steve pipped me at the post AGAIN, as he has done every other time we’ve done this ride. Revenge will be mine!

When we exited the ride, there was a Green Army Man marching around, so Liam had a few photos taken with him before we wandered around the park to Muppet Vision 3D. We were shocked to see a huge line for this. We have NEVER EVER had to line up to see the Muppets! We decided to give it a miss, which was a shame as we really enjoy the show.

A snack break was in order, so Steve and I bought a frozen banana to share, and Liam just wanted a Powerade, so we used 2 snack credits for those. I remember reading about frozen bananas many, many years ago on a Disney website, and even before I had ever been to Orlando, I knew I’d have to get me one of those! They’re ice cold, sweet and covered in a layer of chocolate and nuts. They don’t melt as quickly as an ice cream does!
