Cayenne Buttered Corn on the Cob
Home » COOK » Recipes » Recipes By Course » Side Dishes »To go along with the Cheats Jambalaya that I made for our New Orleans & Mardi Gras Date Night I made some spicy butter corn on the cob. It was delicious! But don’t do what I do and suck back on the corn kernals – gave myself some serious throat burn!!!
This is really done by taste, so adjust to your liking…melt one tablespoon of butter in a saucepan, add a pinch of cayenne pepper and a pinch of garlic salt. Twist in some freshly ground black pepper then pour over boiled corn on the cob. Sprinkle on a little more cayenne pepper and eat!
This is the amount for two corn cobs, so adjust as needed.

This is so simple but I never thought of it! I love corn on the cob (pretty much my staple) and I love spice! Will give this a try for sure as I never realised how people got the spice in the butter!! Thanks, you have some great vegetarian recipes!
