We stayed in a nearby hotel when we went to The Making of Harry Potter Studio Tour, and the day after, we took a trip to Whipsnade Zoo, which wasn't too far away.
I do love going to the zoo, and could quit happily sit for hours watching my favourite animals. Whipsnade Zoo is huge - it's the biggest zoo in the UK. It isn't a safari park, but you can drive your car into the zoo, and park up closer to the exhibits. Or you can park just outside and walk around (or take the bus that goes around the zoo). We chose to walk as it was a gorgeous day. Plus it was cheaper to park outside! We certainly covered some mileage by the end of the day, and by the time we got home, we were shattered!!
