The savoury food for my sister’s Pink Flavoured Baby Shower was Asian inspired with a Nutty Noodle Salad and Chicken Teriyaki. The chicken teriyaki couldn’t be any simpler since all I did was marinate mini chicken fillets in some shop bought teriyaki sauce and then bung in the oven for about 15-20 minutes to cook through.
Just use your favourite brand of sauce and marinade overnight if you can as it keeps the chicken nice and tender when cooking it. I well under-catered with this dish as it was gone in a flash! Luckily I had oodles of noodles which kept everyone happy! I put out a bowl of prawn crackers to go with the food and I have to say it was an awesome success!
