A couple of weeks ago it was another rare sunny, hot Saturday in my part of the world, so we had an impromptu barbecue, and for a change I thought I'd steer clear of the usual fayre of kebabs, and try out Jamie Oliver's Moroccan-style lamb burgers that I'd seen on his Summer Food Rave Up TV show.
There is a spicy sauce to go inside the burgers made with harissa paste and yoghurt.
In keeping with the Moroccan theme, I put together a Vegetable and Chickpea Tagine to go with my Moroccan Lamb Burgers.
I bought a bag of salad leaves and some olives and dips to round off the meal. I also cooked some plain burgers and chicken drumsticks for the less adventurous!
And for a sweet treat, we roasted off some marshmallows on the glowing embers of the coals.
