For our wedding in 2009, we had several attendants to buy gifts for…I had four bridesmaids – my two sisters, my best friend and my cousin. I also had my son as page boy, and my best friend’s daughter as my flower girl. In addition, we had my brother as our usher, and hubby had two best men! We also gave gifts to our parents.
Here are all the attendants gifts wrapped with purple tissue paper, tied with white ribbon and attached with labels that I made. I then put the gifts in bags to make them easier to hand out, and then into a box to pop behind the top table ready to be given during the speeches.
The bridesmaids each received a silver trinket box, the best men received silver tankards, the usher a silver hipflask and my page boy a silver yo-yo. We got them all engraved. For our flowergirl, I bought her this plaque from eBay which I thought was really cute. Our parents received photo frames.
In the UK it is traditional to present the mothers of the bride and groom with flowers, so we asked our florist to make up a display for each of them – they were beautiful!
