London 2012 – Sneak Peek! {Make It Mondays}

Sometimes it feels like I don’t have enough hours in the day, what with work, family time, party planning and the other bits and bobs I find myself tied up with!

With just under 2 weeks until the Opening Ceremony for the London 2012 Olympic Games (and my party!) I’ve started on one of the decorations….

I spotted these paper mache letters/numbers in Hobbycraft, and knowing that I had paint and tissue paper left over from my decoupage boxes that I made for the Jubilee, I quickly snapped them up and have started work!

They are currently drying, awaiting a second coat, and then decoration.  I hope to finish them off by the end of the week ready to show you the finished project!

I’ve also decided on the menu for our Olympics Party, and as such have designed all the labels. Just need to print them off and they’re ready to go.

A few other ideas in my head to sort out, and I’m really looking forward to bringing everything together on 27th July!

      The painting has now been done…just have to patiently wait for them to dry before I can get to decorating! The fun part :D
